Sunday Service: 10:30am
Two Kinds of Widsdon "But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness." - James 3:8-9 NIV "Words can show true spiritual maturity, but we often stumble in word about ourselves, with our boasting, exaggeration, and selective reporting; about others, with our criticism, gossip, slander, cruelty, two-facedness, and anger; or with flattery and insincere words meant to gain favor." -Enduring Word Instead of building up we tear down our confession of being a Christian. Those who proclaim not to believe are watching us who profess to believe. Our credulity is gone as Christian. "Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness." - James 3:13-18 NIV "These verses reminds us of the essence of true wisdom. When our wisdom comes from above, it leads us to embody qualities such as peace, mercy, and the production of good fruits. These characteristics are the markers of a life lived in alignment with divine wisdom. When we operate from a place of wisdom that is rooted in goodness and pure intentions, we naturally cultivate peace within ourselves and extend mercy and kindness to others. Additionally, the “good fruits” symbolize the positive outcomes and impacts that result from our wise actions and choices, benefiting not only ourselves but also those around us." -God's blessings I once was told by a lovely Christian lady, "that we as Christian are the only Bible that none believers will ever see" We need to talk the talk and walk the walk as true fallows of Christ. Others will see the gift of the Holy Spirit living in us for the glory of God. We are only human and not perfect, but we can strive to do what is good and right and lead others to the hope that we have found in the love of our Heavenly Father. Life is short, eternity is forever let us share the GRACE of God with others. Grace Received At Christ Expense
